We are able to suport events from small local galas to large capacity music festivals using full sized Fire Appliances in and around main arena areas to 4x4 Landrovers covering camp sites.

FIRE MARSHALL AND AWARENESS TRAINING
Wessex FRS offer training to small and large businesses, charities, education providers and individuals.
We offer basic site Fire Awareness training as well as full live fire demonstrations and the opportunity for your staff to see first hand how to operate a fire extinguisher.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER SALES AND HIRE
We have over 500 extinguishers on the shelf available for sale. We also offer a delivery and collection service or you can collect from our warehouse, near Shaftesbury, by arrangement. We stock the following types as standard and all extinguishers are fully commissioned and certificated before dispatch.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICING
We offer a full fire extinguisher servicing, testing and certification for your premises on a yearly contract .
Our fully qualified BAFE trained engineers will attend your premises and check you have the correct extinguishers for the risks you need to cover to be compliant.
Our service includes all ancillary items required such as pins, tags and labelling.
We issue a full certificate of all extinguishers serviced required for Insurance, Local Authority and Fire Service inspection purposes.
We provide a full VAT invoice which is payable within 14 days.
We can also offer an out of hours and weekend servicing or discharged extinguisher exchange or replacement service.
DRY RISER TESTING
We offer a full wet testing service, from a single to multiple dry riser stacks. We can also conduct and certificate the required interim six-monthly Visual Inspection.
Our Service Engineers are fully trained and insured.
The Engineers will conduct a complete pre-inspection of the dry riser system prior to testing.
We use a full-size Fire Appliance for multiple floor blocks or a Land Rover Fire appliance for smaller areas where access may be an issue. Both types of appliance have high pressure pumps able to meet the pressure standards demanded by current testing regulations.
A full wet test will be conducted to comply with current British Standards. A Report and Certificate will be issued following completion of the test.
The engineers are in constant contact with each other, via radios, when testing is taking place
Any issues or failures will be highlighted and if possible fixed at the time of test.

We have been involved with the TV and Film Industry for many years providing Appliances both modern and vintage plus uniformed crews
and Equipment representing many different eras.
We have experience both working in front of camera and behind providing all levels of fire safety protection. We also provide Tankers for bulk water supply. All appliances can be hired with a part or full compliment of crew or just drivers, as you require.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS
AT YOUR VENUE
Our Historic & Modern fleet is available for hire to make your special day that extra special. Hire is for 2 hours and includes two members of our team who will show you around the vehicle of your choice at your venue. During your hire you will get the opportunity to have a guided tour around the appliance, seeing the equipment carried and how it is used. Also, children (and adults!) can try out squirting the hoses just like being a real firefighter.
Hire starts at £200.00 per vehicle with a £100.00 deposit to be paid on confirming your booking with us with the remaining amount due on or before the date of your booking. If your venue is further than 30 miles from our Salisbury site, then extra charges of £1.50 per mile would be added. You can also extend your booking for an additional £50.00 per hour. Any distances over 50 miles and depending on which vehicle you hire extra costs may apply.

WEDDING & SPECIAL EVENT vehicle hire
Our Historic and Modern fleets are available for hire to make your special day that extra special. The hire from our wide range of appliances for your wedding is tailored to integrate with the running order of your day and can include collection from your home or first location to the church or venue and then onto an additional venue. The vehicle and staff member, in uniform, will remain onsite for photo opportunities.
Hire starts at £350.00 per vehicle with £100.00 of this as a none refundable deposit to be paid on confirming your booking with us with the remaining amount due on or before the date of your booking. If your venue is further than 30 miles from the main museum site and dependant on the distance between locations throughout your day then extra charges of £1.50 per mile would be added.
